HULK Underground Tree Kits are available in three variants including, Earth Anchors, Concrete Anchors and Deadman Anchors. HULK Earth Anchor Underground Tree Kits
The HULK Earth Anchor Underground Tree Kit’s core component is the HULK Percussion Driven Earth Anchor. HULK Earth Anchors are installed by driving the anchor into undisturbed soil with a suitable hammer, and a re-usable HULK Smasher Rod. After the anchor is installed to the required depth, the reusable HULK Smasher Rod is easily removed. An upward pull on the anchor tendon sets the anchor in place, and is ready for use immediately.
The HULK Earth Anchors are installed at the bottom of the planting hole, evenly spaced around the tree’s rootball. The rootball tensioning strap with ratchet secures the tree to the anchors and brings the system into tension.

HULK Concrete Anchor Underground Tree Kits
HULK Concrete Anchor Tree Kits are ideal for anchoring trees in planting containers, or where concrete flooring is below the planting location. Typically installed in metropolitan environments, such as rooftop gardens, indoor plantings, and street sidewalks.
The supplied mechanical concrete anchors can be installed into the container side wall, or a concrete base below to provide an effective anchoring solution.
The rootball tensioning strap, with integrated ratchet, brings the system into tension effectively securing the tree in place.

HULK Deadman Anchor Underground Tree Kits
The HULK Deadman Tree Anchor Kit is a below ground tree anchoring system for use where it is not possible to install percussion driven earth anchors. Typically used on difficult sites where services or underground utilities may be present, or where ground conditions do not allow for HULK Earth Anchor installation.
The included HULK Deadman Anchor Slings are attached to the deadman anchors placed at the bottom of the planting hole. Well compacted soil is placed over the anchors to provide added stability. The rootball tensioning strap secures the tree in place with the integrated ratchet tensioner.
